Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Pirates vs. Pilot Rock Rockets

The Riverside Pirates will take on the Pilot Rock Rockets in a tournament on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Riverside picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-48 victory over Neah-Kah-Nie. The win made it back-to-back victories for Riverside.

Meanwhile, Pilot Rock didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Sherman on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 57-51 win. That's two games straight that the Rockets have won by exactly six points.

Riverside now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pilot Rock, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Riverside strolled past Pilot Rock in their previous meeting back in June of 2021 by a score of 51-34. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
