Basketball Game Preview: Chaparral Lobos vs. Santa Teresa Desert Warriors

Chaparral is 2-8 against Santa Teresa since February of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Chaparral Lobos will be playing in front of their home fans against the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Chaparral is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They took a blow against Silver, falling 73-34.

Meanwhile, Santa Teresa lost to Deming on the road by a 63-46 margin on Friday.

Santa Teresa has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points over those games. Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 8-18.
