Softball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton lost to Buchanan on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawkeyes fell 10-7 to the Bucks. The Hawkeyes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Julia Brown was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Braelyn DeHorn, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Buchanan, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Portage Northern on the 15th. As for Buchanan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Living Water Homeschool on the 16th.
