Basketball Preview: Fayette Academy Vikings vs. Brighton Cardinals        
        
		
             The Fayette Academy Vikings will challenge the Brighton Cardinals at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both  will really light up the scoreboard.
 Fayette Academy is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home  on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding  63-29 victory over Central Baptist. The  win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fayette Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Corbin Bowling, who  went 8 for 17 en route to 18 points plus two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Kahne Dozier, who  posted nine points plus six  rebounds and three  steals.
 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when  Brighton faced off against Lakeland Preparatory on Tuesday. Brighton came out on top against Lakeland Preparatory by a score of  59-47. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
