Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Comes Up Short

Maricopa's tournament run continued when they took on Del Sol on Friday. The Rams fell 2-0 to the Dragons. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dion Cartwright was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 13 assists and three digs.

Maricopa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Del Sol, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Maricopa has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Crismon on the 28th. As for Del Sol, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Mica Mountain on the 28th.
