Baseball Recap: New Hampton School Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for New Hampton School's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Vermont Academy Wildcats on Saturday. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Huskies were not able to get on the board.

New Hampton School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Vermont Academy, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. New Hampton School will challenge rival Holderness at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Vermont Academy is set to take on their familiar foe St. Paul's at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats are on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Big Red a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
