Sacred Heart of Jesus had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They blew past the St. Genevieve Valiants 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won eight matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Genevee Hernandez, who fired off three runs, three doubles, and four RBI while going 4-for-4. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Melania Saborio, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Sacred Heart of Jesus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Genevieve only posted an OBP of .400.

Sacred Heart of Jesus pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for St. Genevieve, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
