Football Recap: Dunellen Destroyers vs. South River Rams
Dunellen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 29-0 loss at the hands of the South River Rams. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Destroyers haven't been shut out since back in September.
Orion Familia was nothing short of spectacular for South River: he threw for 101 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown. Those 64 rushing yards gave Familia a new career-high.
Dunellen's record is now 0-10. As for South River, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.
As of now, neither Dunellen nor South River have any future games scheduled.
