Volleyball Recap: Ellsworth Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Ellsworth took on Spring Valley on Tuesday. The Panthers came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-16.

Ellsworth's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Spring Valley, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-6.

Ellsworth and Spring Valley will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will challenge rival Baldwin-Woodville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Spring Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Mondovi at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
