Baseball Recap: Crystal Lake Central Takes a Loss

Crystal Lake Central lost against McHenry on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crystal Lake Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-13-1. As for McHenry, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crystal Lake Central will venture away from home to face off against Deerfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for McHenry, they will head out to square off against Johnsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Skyhawks have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
