Softball Recap: Adair County Comes Up Short

Campbellsville hit Adair County with a eight-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians lost 13-3 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly ten runs.

Adair County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jade Waggner, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another was Reese Bardin, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Adair County's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Campbellsville, they moved to 7-12 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
