Football Recap: Neumann Skates Past Coral Shores with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Neumann). They blew past the Coral Shores Hurricanes, posting a 58-0 win. The Celtics' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Neumann's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Louvens Bazile, who rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Bazile a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rony Raposo, who picked up 109 receiving yards and three TDs.

Neumann pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.5 points over those games. As for Coral Shores, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Neumann will take on North Miami Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. Coral Shores does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
