Independence kept a clean sheet against Sierra Linda on Wednesday. They blew past the Sierra Linda Bulldogs 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Sierra Linda from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Jocelyn Vite led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory (which was Independence's sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those six matchups. As for Sierra Linda, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6-2.

Independence will head out on the road to take on Youngker at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Youngker will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Independence surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sierra Linda, they will challenge Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sierra Linda is facing Central at the right time seeing as Central is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
