Recap: Paradise Honors Panthers vs. Greenway Demons
Make it six blowout wins for the Paradise Honors Panthers this season. They blew past Greenway 62-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Paradise Honors has posted since November 24, 2023.
Morgan Van Dyke continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Paradise Honors' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Gewargis, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Paradise Honors has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Greenway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
Paradise Honors will be playing at home against Moon Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Moon Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 251st, while Paradise Honors is ranked 69th). As for Greenway, they will head out on the road to take on Thunderbird at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Thunderbird will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
