Lowell Catholic entered their tilt with Dracut on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Middies by a score of 68-57. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while the Middies are ranked 258th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lowell Catholic's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Dracut, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowell Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Lynn Vo-Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.94 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
