Volleyball Recap: Westview Wildcats vs. Jesuit Crusaders
After flying high against Aloha last Thursday, Westview came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Jesuit Crusaders on Thursday, falling 3-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
While Westview was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 25-17.
Kiana Johnson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 12 digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September of 2024. Alex Douglas also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
Westview now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Jesuit, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
