It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lakewood can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers by a score of 44-41 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Rangers have suffered since December 16, 2024.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

While Lakewood had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
