Basketball Recap: Xenia Extends Winning Streak to Three

Xenia had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Piqua Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-43 back in January.

Xenia's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Piqua, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Xenia will face off against West Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Xenia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully West Carrollton likes a good challenge. As for Piqua, they will welcome Greenville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Piqua is facing Greenville at the right time seeing as Greenville is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
