Joppa-Maple Grove had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dongola Demons on Tuesday. The Rangers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Demons, so the Rangers were just returning the favor.

Joppa-Maple Grove easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18.

Joppa-Maple Grove's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Dongola, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coincidentally, Joppa-Maple Grove and Dongola will both be playing Egyptian the next time they take the court. The Rangers will head out to face the Pharaohs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Demons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
