Football Recap: Miamisburg Takes a Loss

Miamisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wayne Warriors. The Vikings lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 43-7 score last time.

Miamisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Wayne, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Miamisburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Northmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wayne will face off against rival Beavercreek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
