Basketball Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Franklin

Franklin won the last time they faced Centennial and things went their way on Friday too. The Franklin Admirals secured a 49-43 W over the Centennial Cougars. Given the Admirals' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Cougars are ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Franklin pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will square off against Page at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to square off against Ravenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
