Basketball Recap: Rocky Boy Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Rocky Boy lost to Cut Bank back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Rocky Boy Northern Stars strolled past the Cut Bank Wolves with points to spare, taking the game 57-41.

Cut Bank lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Thane Vaile, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Colter Johnson, who had eight points.

Rocky Boy pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.4 points over those games. As for Cut Bank, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Rocky Boy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cut Bank: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
