Baseball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa lost against St. Georges Tech back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ducks fell 8-5 to the Hawks.

Owen Mease made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Michael Biondolillo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Odessa's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for St. Georges Tech, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Odessa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Georges Tech, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Caesar Rodney at 3:45 p.m. on the 30th. The Riders' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
