Battle Mountain won the last time they faced Oasis Academy and things went their way on Friday too. The Longhorns came out on top against the Bighorns by a score of 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-5, 21-25, 25-19, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Alexis Rangel, who had six digs and four aces.

Rangel wasn't the only good servers: Battle Mountain was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 29 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 14 consecutive matches.

Battle Mountain is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Oasis Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-16.
