Basketball Recap: Fairmont Prep's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Fairmont Prep entered their match against Pacifica Christian on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Fairmont Prep Huskies fell 67-55 to the Pacifica Christian Tritons. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tritons earlier this season, when they won 60-56.

Pacifica Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Noel, who went 7 of 9 on his way to 18 points. Those 18 points gave Noel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of EJ Spillman, who posted 14 points along with seven assists and five boards.

Fairmont Prep's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-9. As for Pacifica Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Fairmont Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-55 victory against San Gabriel Academy on the 30th. Pacifica Christian has also already played their next match (against Western Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
