Basketball Game Preview: Harriton Rams vs. Springfield Cougars

The Harriton Rams will square off against the Springfield Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with six losses in a row dating back to last season, Harriton turned things around against East last Friday. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 48-41.

Meanwhile, Springfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Buccaneers 49-25. That looming 49-25 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

Springfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Harriton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Harriton didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Springfield in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-40 victory.
