The Key West Conchs will head out on the road to take on the American Patriots at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Key West is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Key West had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Mater Bay Academy on Wednesday. The Conchs were the clear victors by a 20-5 margin over the Rays. The Conchs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

On the hitting side, Key West got a massive performance out of Tavyn Gage, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-6. Those three hits gave Gage a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaleaya Dickerson, who scored three runs while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
