Softball Recap: Tygarts Valley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Valley

Tygarts Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 15-10 to the Valley Lumberjacks. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring contest to date.

Tygarts Valley got a massive performance out of Addison Riddle, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Daelyn Leach, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Tygarts Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12.

While Tygarts Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
