Volleyball Preview: Burlington Demons vs. Racine Park Panthers
After four games on the road, Burlington is heading back home. After both having extra time off, they and the Racine Park Panthers will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burlington will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.
Last Tuesday, Burlington got the win against Badger by a conclusive 3-0.
While Burlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9, 26-24.
Meanwhile, Racine Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of SWCHA S.
The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13.
Burlington's win bumped their record up to 14-15. As for Racine Park, their loss dropped their record down to 8-20.
