Baseball Game Preview: Burton Panthers vs. Milano Eagles

The Burton Panthers will venture away from home to take on the Milano Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Burton's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Somerville as they made off with a 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Milano faced off against Snook on Friday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Bluejays. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Andres Ruelas was a standout: he went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Jackson Reyes was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Milano always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Burton's record now sits at 13-7. As for Milano, their record is now 11-7-1.
