While Poly put up some runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Legacy. The Parrots put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 8-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Parrots sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Poly's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Legacy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coming up, Poly will be taking part in a tournament against Banning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Parrots 2.6, the Pilots 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Legacy, they will host Sylmar at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 1.7 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
