Volleyball Recap: Addison Victorious

Addison saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Clements Colts by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Ava Bartlett paced Addison's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bartlett got some help from Annabeth Powell and her 13 assists. Bartlett also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allieruth Powell, each putting up four.

Addison's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Clements, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season.

Addison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Winston County on the 27th. As for Clements, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lawrence County at 5:00 p.m. on October 7.
