            Mountain View hasn't had much luck against Queen Creek recently, but that could start to change  on Thursday. The Mountain View Toros will take on the Queen Creek Bulldogs in a tournament  on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Queen Creek will be up against a hot Mountain View  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to five. Everything went Mountain View's way against Westwood on Tuesday as Mountain View made off with  a  10-2 victory.
 The team  relied heavily on  Tierah Metcalf, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4. What's more,  she posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Hadlie Goodman, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, while Queen Creek put up some  runs on Monday, the same  can't be said for Basha. Queen Creek blew past Basha 10-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bulldogs.
Queen Creek also got a great performance from  Aubrey Chavez as she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over five innings pitched. That's the fewest  hits  Chavez has allowed since back in April of 2024.
 At the plate,  Charli Dixon was a standout: she fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3.  Keira Weekly was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Queen Creek was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .409. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Queen Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
 Mountain View came up short against Queen Creek when the teams last played  back in March of 2023, falling  5-1. Can Mountain View avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
