Volleyball Recap: Joliet West Takes a Loss

Joliet West lost against St. Charles North last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the North Stars.

While Joliet West ultimately came up short, they really made St. Charles North work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-18.

Drew Johnson paced Joliet West's offense, picking up seven kills. Johnson got some help from Nolan Fellows and his eight assists.

Joliet West's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for St. Charles North, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Joliet West will face off against Andrew at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers are facing the Thunderbolts at the right time seeing as the Thunderbolts are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for St. Charles North, they are taking a road trip to take on Glenbard South at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
