Soccer Game Preview: Thacher vs. Grace

The Thacher Toads are taking a road trip to square off against the Grace Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thacher will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.

Thacher is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Villanova Prep on Thursday as they made off with an 8-1 win. With Thacher ahead 5-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Grace came up short against Laguna Blanca on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for Grace in their meetings with Laguna Blanca: they've now lost four in a row.

Grace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Thacher, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1.

Thacher got the 'W' when the teams last played back in December of 2025 against Grace by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Toads since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
