Basketball Game Preview: Twin Valley Wildcats vs. Long Trail

The Twin Valley Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge Long Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Twin Valley will bounce into Monday's match after beating Proctor, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Twin Valley strolled past Proctor with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 42-23.

Meanwhile, Long Trail entered their tilt with Sharon Academy on Saturday with nine consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with ten. They walked away with a 41-28 win over the Phoenix.

Long Trail pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for Twin Valley, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Twin Valley might still be hurting after the 45-23 defeat they got from Long Trail when the teams last played back in January. Can Twin Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
