Softball Recap: Kittitas Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Kittitas barely beat Cashmere the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 16-9 margin over the Bulldogs on Friday. The Coyotes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Kittitas' victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.9 runs this season. As for Cashmere, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Coming up, Kittitas will challenge Granger at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Coyotes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cashmere, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Naches Valley at 3:00 p.m. The Rangers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
