Softball Recap: Ebarb Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Ebarb had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Pleasant Hill Eagles with a sharp 18-1 win. 18 seems to be a good number for the Rebels as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Ebarb pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Pleasant Hill, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Ebarb will square off against Simpson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pleasant Hill, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 31-15 defeat against Southwood on the 26th.
