Volleyball Recap: Hillsborough Baptist Takes a Loss

Hillsborough Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the American Youth Academy Eagles, falling 3-0.

While Hillsborough Baptist was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into American Youth Academy's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-15.

Hillsborough Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for American Youth Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

Coming up, Hillsborough Baptist will welcome Florida College Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for American Youth Academy, they will take on Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Phoenix will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
