Volleyball Recap: Manning's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

The Manning Monarchs didn't have quite enough to beat the Lake Marion Gators on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The loss put an end to the Monarchs' undefeated start to the season.

Manning actually scored more points across those five sets (106-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-22, 25-16, 14-25, 25-18.

Having lost for the first time this season, Manning fell to 2-1. As for Lake Marion, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Manning wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against East Clarendon on the 4th. Lake Marion has also already played their next matchup (against Woodland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
