Baseball Recap: Ector Takes a Loss

Ector lost against Whitewright back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Tigers, falling 17-7. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ector's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Whitewright, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ector will square off against Tom Bean at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Whitewright, they will challenge Tioga at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
