CEDAR HILL, Texas - Katy (Texas) came into Saturday's contest ranked No. 18 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings, but was shocked by Cedar Hill (Texas), 33-24. Cedar Hill was ranked No. 20 nationally and No. 4 in the Freeman Rankings for Texas coming into the week.

After nabbing the lead on a passing touchdown, the Tigers went into halftime with a 20-10 lead. The Longhorns scored the winning points with a rushing touchdown that came in the fourth quarter.

Despite scoring six points in the third, Cedar Hill still trailed by eight points going into the fourth quarter. But 17 points in the fourth helped CH pull out the victory.

Katy came into the game having won one of the past two games between the two teams.

KHS came in surrendering 6.2 points per game this season. The Tigers had a hard time against Cedar Hill's offense, who entered the game scoring 36.1 points per game.



Cedar Hill got revenge for last year's 35-24 loss to Katy with the victory.

The defeat comes as a step back for Katy, which notched a 52-0 victory over Johnson in its previous outing.
