Lovelady had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They snuck past the Elkhart Elks with a 33-28 victory. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Elks on December 7th, they had to take a 55-48 loss.

Lovelady has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Elkhart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.
