King William was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers. One positive for the Cavaliers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Janiya Brown was her usual excellent self, going 5 of 11 en route to 14 points along with seven assists and six steals for King & Queen Central. Brown is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimora Hill, who posted 12 points.

King William's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for King & Queen Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

King William has already played their next matchup (against West Point), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. King & Queen Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Carver College and Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Carver College and Career Academy has insisted on making their lasteight contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 0-8 during that stretch of close contests.
