 In other batting news,  Chauncey Goldwire was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Troy Skinner, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Grace Christian's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 4-2. As for Oasis Christian,  the  win  got them back to even at 3-3.
