Volleyball Recap: Boston Latin Comes Up Short

Boston Latin was the 3-0 winner over Haverhill when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolfpack fell 3-1 to the Hillies on Thursday. While the Wolfpack didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hillies 25-12 in the first set.

Boston Latin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-21, 27-25, 25-21.

Boston Latin now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Haverhill, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Boston Latin will venture away from home to take on Brookline at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Haverhill, they will head out to square off against Methuen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
