Godby's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Jefferson County Tigers 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Godby took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 25-8.
