Baseball Recap: Nouvel Catholic Central Comes Up Short

Nouvel Catholic Central was the 9-5 winner over Valley Lutheran when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 5-1 to the Chargers on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cam Kaul was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Nouvel Catholic Central's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Valley Lutheran, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nouvel Catholic Central will face off against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Valley Lutheran, they will challenge Reese at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
