Basketball Recap: Garfield Heights Takes a Loss

Garfield Heights lost against Ravenna back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Garfield Heights Bulldogs fell to the Ravenna Ravens 40-35. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Ravens 9-5 in the first quarter.

Garfield Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ravenna, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

When Garfield Heights and Ravenna next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Garfield Heights will try to stop Lorain's three-game winning streak when the meet at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Ravenna will take on Streetsboro and their five-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
