Baseball Recap: Capital Cougars vs. Bellarmine Prep Lions
Capital extended their losing streak to three on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 13-6 in the process. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bellarmine Prep Lions. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2015.
As for Bellarmine Prep, their record now sits at 7-9. The high-scoring effort was just what they needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.
For Bellarmine Prep's part, Dolan Wynne made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
